Do I have to take the house if I win?
You may choose to take the $100,000 cash grand prize rather than the house.
What will happen to the house if I take the money?
The house will be sold with income going to The Arc of Winnebago, Boone & Ogle Counties.
Do I have to pay taxes if I win?
Federal law states taxes on prizes valued over $5,000 must be paid prior to receipt of prize.
Do I have to live in the house before I can sell it?
No, You Win. You Choose. You can sell, rent, live in or give away the house.
What are the property taxes on the house?
The property taxes on the house are not available at the time of the raffle.
If I win an Early Bird Prize, am I still in the drawing for the Grand Prize?
Yes, all Early Bird winners tickets are in the final drawing.
Can a child win?
No. You have to be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the USA to be eligible to win.
Can I put more than one name on a ticket?
You can, but the winner of record can only be 1 person. The first name on the ticket is the legal winner.
Can a group of people get together and order the discounted ticket offers?
Yes, the tickets must be ordered and paid for at one time.
